Questions, answered
Yes. We open the session 10–15 minutes early for Q&A and live review of selected artworks shared on Tamboora or WhatsApp. During the session, relevant questions are answered as the teaching progresses, and the last 10–15 minutes are kept open for Q&A. You may speak, type in the chat, or use the Q&A option in Zoom.
We cannot review every artwork live, so we select the ones that best reflect common doubts, mistakes, and learning points for the whole group. This helps everyone learn more clearly together. To be considered for live review, participants are encouraged to share their artwork 4–5 hours before the next session begins.
Yes. Every workshop-related artwork shared on WhatsApp or Tamboora is reviewed within a stipulated time. Live review is selective, but feedback support continues for all workshop submissions during your access window.
You do not need to arrive fully prepared. This workshop is designed to support beginners, including those who feel rusty or unsure. With pre-workshop guidance, live demonstrations, and replay access, you can keep learning even if life gets busy. The goal is not pressure. The goal is steady progress.
For many learners, progress does not come from more information. It comes from reassurance, correction, and knowing what to improve next. That is why this workshop is built around guided teaching, thoughtful feedback, and a space where your practice can deepen with more clarity and less self-doubt.
This is a live guided workshop, not a passive viewing experience. Questions are taken throughout the process where relevant, and the final 10–15 minutes are reserved for Q&A. If anything still feels unanswered, students are encouraged to ask through WhatsApp or Tamboora and wait with patience as questions are addressed one by one.
You will build a foundation in sketching and watercolour, move into colour handling and everyday journaling, and gradually learn perspective, live sketching, live painting, and urban sketching with more confidence.
All replays are available on your Alekhyam dashboard for 6 months after the final session, so you can revisit lessons and continue learning at a steadier pace. Replay access cannot be extended beyond the stated period for personal, medical, or any other reason.
Joining links are sent through email, and you can also join directly from your Alekhyam dashboard on the app or website by clicking the Join Now button. Replays are also available on the dashboard for streaming. They are not sent through WhatsApp.
The WhatsApp group is restricted for participant messaging, and only admins can post there. This helps avoid unnecessary notifications and spam for everyone. Students may still send questions and artwork for feedback through the designated support flow.
Tamboora is the community space where participants can introduce themselves, share workshop-related work, ask questions, and support one another. During the workshop, students are expected to keep the space focused on workshop-related posts. After the workshop, it remains an art-focused space. Alekhyam is for learning and access; Tamboora is for sharing and getting feedback from the Alekhyam team and peers, like a dedicated art social network. Tamboora needs separate login credentials, and Alekhyam does as well.
No. The workshop begins with foundations and is built for those who are new, rusty, or not yet confident with sketching.
You do not need an elaborate setup, but we do recommend good materials so the experience feels smoother and more enjoyable. A clear supply list is shared before you begin.
Yes. If, after Day 2, you feel the workshop is not for you, you may request a full refund before Day 3 begins. Once Day 3 starts, refunds will not be accepted. If you face any issue, you may contact the team through WhatsApp, email, or the contact options available across the website.
“If you have been waiting for the right guidance, the right rhythm, or the right structure, this may be a thoughtful place to begin.”
