Terms of Service

Welcome to Alekhyam Arts Academy (“Alekhyam”, “we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Kalaras Art Innovations (OPC) Private Limited. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://alekhyam.com and the Alekhyam mobile application (together, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Recorded courses, self-paced access, and availability

Courses are delivered digitally through your Alekhyam account.
Access duration for each recorded or self-paced course is clearly stated on the course page at the time of purchase.
If a recorded or self-paced course is described as having “lifetime access”, this means access for as long as that course remains available on the Platform.
In all such cases, Alekhyam guarantees that access to the purchased recorded or self-paced course will not be revoked within the first 2 years from the date of purchase, except in cases of fraud, policy violations, legal requirements, or technical/platform discontinuation beyond our reasonable control.

4. Live workshops, cohort-based access, and replay availability

Certain Alekhyam offerings are conducted as live workshops, challenges, cohort-based programs, webinars, or similar scheduled learning experiences (“Live Workshops”). These are distinct from recorded or self-paced courses.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant product page, checkout page, confirmation email, WhatsApp group communication, or other official written communication from Alekhyam, Live Workshops do not include lifetime access.
Access to a Live Workshop may include live sessions, workshop recordings or replays, downloadable materials, support groups, bonus lessons, or community access for a limited period only.
The exact access period for each Live Workshop shall be as communicated by Alekhyam for that specific workshop.
For cohort-based workshops, replay or recording access may be tied to a fixed calendar end date applicable to all participants of that cohort, irrespective of the participant’s date of purchase, enrollment, attendance, or completion status.
Where Alekhyam has communicated a specific replay expiry date or access window for a Live Workshop on the product page, in workshop communications, inside the learning dashboard, within the participant WhatsApp group, by email, or through other official written communication, that communicated date or window shall govern the user’s access to that Live Workshop and its recordings.
After the communicated replay or access period ends, Alekhyam may suspend, remove, archive, or discontinue access to the Live Workshop recordings and related materials without any obligation to restore, extend, or renew access, unless Alekhyam has expressly agreed to do so in writing.
Users acknowledge that certain labels, fields, invoices, subscription pages, dashboards, account areas, or other system-generated displays shown by third-party platforms may occasionally reflect generic wording such as “unlimited access”, “lifetime”, “subscription”, or similar terminology due to platform limitations, automation, or display errors. Such generic or system-generated wording shall not override the specific access period, replay window, or expiry terms communicated by Alekhyam for that particular Live Workshop.
In the event of any inconsistency, the workshop-specific written communication issued by Alekhyam shall prevail over generic or system-generated platform labels.
It is the responsibility of the participant to attend the live sessions and/or watch the recordings within the communicated access period. Alekhyam shall not be liable if a participant fails to use the available access before the expiry date.

5. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay or PayPal.
Alekhyam does not store your full card or banking details.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy published on the Platform.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Platform only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit course content.
Share login credentials or provide access to others.
Upload or post unlawful, abusive, hateful, misleading, or harmful content.
Interfere with the security or normal operation of the Platform.

7. Community conduct

If you participate in community features, you are responsible for the content you share. Harassment, impersonation, hate speech, spam, or deliberate disruption of others’ learning experience is not permitted.

Alekhyam may remove content or restrict access that violates these Terms or disrupts the community, at its reasonable discretion.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you create and submit on the Platform.

By posting content in public or community areas, you grant Alekhyam a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and share such content only for operating, improving, or promoting the Platform and its learning community.

9. Intellectual property

All course materials, videos, texts, designs, logos, and software on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Alekhyam and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without prior written permission.

10. Third-party links and services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. Alekhyam is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

11. Disclaimer

The Platform and all courses are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. While we strive to provide high-quality learning experiences, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, certifications, or employment results.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alekhyam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the Platform, including loss of data, profits, or learning opportunities.

13. Suspension and termination

Alekhyam may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Platform, or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
