Monsoon Street in Acrylics - Two Day Workshop

After registration, you receive the reference image and detailed supply guidance. The demonstration uses a compact palette, a canvas or canvas board, flat brushes in three useful sizes, and one small round brush for lights, rain, and fine details.

The first session turns the photographic reference into a clear painting plan. We establish the horizon, road direction, focal figure, traffic light, and simplified vehicles, then move into a muted grey-blue base with broad blends and soft edges.

• Hazy acrylic blendswork wet into wet with a broad flat brush and muted colour.
• Atmospheric baseblock the background, road, distant trees, buildings, and first warm and cool light zones.

You finish Day 1 with a complete perspective-based sketch and a blended atmospheric base, with the background, road, and major compositional masses established.

The second session keeps the distant city soft while bringing clarity into the foreground. We add bokeh lights, simplified vehicles, the umbrella figure, reflections, crosswalk shapes, selective highlights, and diagonal rain.

Replays of both sessions stay available for three months. You can revisit the demonstration, complete the painting at your own pace, and submit workshop artwork through the specified feedback process for individual review.
